BHOOTHNATH RETURNS Story

Bhoothnath Returns movie is a sequel to 2008's Bhoothnath. Its a delightful concoction of humour and fantasy that will entertain in abundance. The film is set in a chaotic urban locality and features a fearless, street-kid. Bhoothnath Returns is like a political satire in which a ghost takes on a corrupt politician by fighting elections against him. Boman Irani is cast as the antagonist who is challenged by Amitabh Bachchan.

Story in detail: Bhoothnath Returns takes Bhoothnath's story forward. As he returns to 'Bhoot World' he is greeted with taunts and condemnation from other ghosts for bringing disrepute to the ghost-community for getting bullied by a kid on Earth. Post the humiliation, Bhoothnath decides to redeem himself and come back to scare a bunch of kids. Bhoothnath's search for kids brings him to Akhrot, a slum kid who is also the only person who can see him. Together they agree to help each other and their friendship sees them get involved in a cause that is bigger than they had ever imagined. To move ahead they will need to take on one of the country's most powerful and corrupt politician Bhau. The Lok Sabha elections are nearing and Bhau's victory is a mere formality, or is it? In a world, where a common man is afraid of politics, will a common man's ghost overcome his fear to stand up for what's right and fight against injustice? Bhoothnath Returns is an entertaining tale of good against evil, weak against powerful, past against future.

Main Tera Hero movie review

Star Cast: Varun Dhawan, Arunoday Singh, Ileana D’Cruz, Nargis Fakhri, Rajpal Yadav, Anupam Kher, Saurabh Shukla, Evelyn Sharma, Manoj Pahwa, Shakti Kapoor
Director : David Dhawan
A beefy cop besotted by a college girl goes about spouting knock knock jokes. Taking a cue from him, I’ll start with one of mine. Knock knock. Who’s there? Err, me. Me who? Me trying to hoot, that’s who.
I did manage to find a few laughs in ‘Main Tera Hero’, David Dhawan’s showcase created solely for his son Varun, but it was hard work. Because this is David precariously close to making my eyes glaze over, with long stretches of flatness, and forced laughter.
The film may be a Telugu remake, but the template is very Dhawan, with the usual mix of buffoons and goons and mistaken identities playing ‘I spy’ in a Bangkok hotel masquerading as a home.
Layabout Seenu (Varun Dhawan) reaches Bengaluru with the single aim of earning a college degree. Instead, he starts chasing the pretty Sunaina (Ileana D’ Cruz), who is being menaced by a tall, burly policeman (Arunoday Singh). A rival for Seenu’s affections pops up, in the shape of the curvy, lippy Ayesha (Nargis Fakhri), and things get complicated.
That heroes will float around Bollywood colleges without hefting a single book is a very old story: nary a one is to be seen here, nor a classroom. That they will leap from one idiocy to another is equally old. There was a time when Dhawan’s brand of idiocy was sublime. The good Govinda fronted for him, David used his superlative editing skills to keep up a rat-a-tat-pace, and we all happily rolled down the aisles. But it’s been a while since Dhawan hit his stride.
‘Main Tera Hero’ is not as ghastly as a few recent Dhawans have been, but only because it takes itself not at all seriously, and becomes as silly as it should be for some of the second half . The rest of it has its share of the usual unsightly and tasteless gags about women and protruding body parts and the mandatory fat guy in a wheelchair.
“Purani haveli ke paas chikni chameli” is equal to “oh, this old guy with that babe”.  Clap, clap. Here’s another: “ek popat ki do maina” (one parrot, two `mainas’). And a whole series of lines about ‘bajaana’ : either you can tamp down all standards and go hyuk-hyuk at this sort of thing, or you can just sit there and wonder if anything can get worse.
Varun tries everything in his repertoire to be this hero: he fights, dances, and tries to be funny, topping it all up with a man-boob-mobile-nipple moment. But he is no light-on-his feet, beautifully-timed Govinda.  The effort shows. The flimsily-clad Ileana D’Cruz

Main Tera Hero movie review 2

It is with much trepidation that one approaches Bollywood comic romps these days. They tend to hinge more on heavy-handed buffoonery than on genuine hilarity.

Main Tera Hero has both strains of comedy, the crass and the truly funny, but in the end it is the latter that dominates.

The sheer absurdity of the screwball plot does not weigh unduly heavy on the film because the likeable oddballs that populate it quickly get on top of things.

Of course, amid the frantic pace of Main Tera Hero, the one-film-old and understandably over-enthusiastic Varun Dhawan is frequently in danger of tripping over the line.

Obviously keen to graduate from student to superstar, the lead actor dances, fights and romances his way through the film with great gusto. He manages to retain his balance. No mean feat that.

The wacky screenplay (Tushar Hiranandani) is driven by a go-as-you-like, act-as-you-please spirit that is further fanned by the no-holds-barred dialogue (Milap Zaveri).

That gives the actors the leeway to be completely batty.

Main Tera Hero is a laugh riot, unapologetically mindless but infectiously boisterous and off-the-wall.

Do not look for logic and sense here. Just sit back and enjoy the harmless lunacy unleashed by a bunch of cranks whose actions would make little sense if they were to be judged by the rules normal human behaviour.

Main Tera Hero is an action-packed romantic comedy that is peppered with vivacious performances, peppy musical set pieces, and a breezy and an unusual love triangle that eventually acquires an additional angle.

The liberal doses of zaniness and some of the over-the-top directorial touches are reminiscent of the David Dhawan of yore.

The film certainly has its share of moments (especially in the early parts of the first half) that aren’t particularly effective.

These slip-ups could leave the less patient segments of the audience squirming in their seats and wondering what the hell is going on.

However, once Main Tera Hero warms up and settles into its chosen off-kilter rhythm, it hurtles along without let and sets itself up nicely for a bouncy climax that is as crazy as anything else that the film has on offer.

The story, which is clearly only a pretext to hang the film’s many gags on, delivers frantic twists and turns that strain credulity.

But the situations do not seem to be out of place in the context of the misadventures of a college laggard (Varun Dhawan) who moves from Ooty to Bangalore to get a life.

But in the big bad city, the loose cannon courts even bigger trouble by daring to aggressively woo a pretty college mate (Ileana D’Cruz), who a rogue policeman (Arunoday Singh) wants to marry no matter what.

The hero converses with the gods, needles the boorish cop and continues on his merry ways until his botched-up life takes another turn.

Unbeknown to him, the daughter (Nargis Fakhri) of a gangster (Anupam Kher) is smitten by the young man.

All hell breaks loose when he finds himself in the mobster’s den in Bangkok.

In the free-for-all that ensues, he is not only caught between the two girls in his life but is also compelled to think on his feet and devise ways to keep the clumsy cop at bay.

Director David Dhawan conjures up a world where anything goes, take it or lump it.
The college that the hero goes in order to acquire a degree does not resemble any educational institution that exists anywhere in our part of the world.

The dreaded Bangkok mafia don whose beloved daughter falls in love with the unsuspecting male protagonist does very little that could justify his pre-eminent billing in the world of crime.

But then, Main Tera Hero isn’t remotely interested in creating a real college campus where boys and girls fret over mundane things like attending classes and preparing for examinations.

Nor does the film intend to etch out a fearsome figure of a bloodthirsty gangster who needs no provocation to pull the trigger on his adversaries. Instead, he arouses more mirth than fear.

That is the kind of film Main Tera Hero is. It is designed as a madcap escapade and that is all there is to it.

Varun Dhawan pumps every ounce of strength into serving the film’s avowed purpose.
D’Cruz and Fakhri provide ideal foils to the male lead although the latter’s character is sketchy and her Hindi diction way too dodgy.

The lead trio is well supported by an array of comic talent – Anupam Kher, Saurabh Shukla and Rajpal Yadav. When they are on the screen, even the less convincing passages pass muster.

Saurabh Shukla as the gangster’s wise-cracking sidekick and Yadav as the cop’s bullied assistant are the best of the lot.

As one character in the film reminds another, forget the words, just focus on the emotions. In fact, it would be wise to ignore the emotions too.

Main Tera Hero, for all its excesses, is held together by its sustained comic energy. The sillier it turns, the better it gets.

The film has enough laugh-out-loud situations for the audience not to be overly put off by the screenplay’s obvious rough edges.

Give Main Tera Hero a shot. Not quite vintage David Dhawan, but it comes pretty close.

Station: The Film Movie Review

Station: The Film Movie Review: Station, a crime-thriller movie, which is written and directed by Bangalore-based director Saad Khan whose short film was screened at Cannes and has creatively assisted Ashutosh Gowariker. The low budget flick is produced by Sumit Ghosh Media, which is an independent company promoting talent from Bangalore.

Sameer Kevin Roy, Vibhinta Verma, and Siddhanth Sundar star as the main protagonists of the film and other cast comprises Hardik Sha, Kanika Batra, Vivek Shah, and Rohiet Nair. Let's begin the movie review and story.

The plot of the Hindi flick follows three psychotic killers as they wait to finish a job at a waiting room on a deserted railway station. The flick depicts the principles that these deranged criminals follow and how one deal in a dark night solved the past of their lives forever. It also visualizes when and how a normal citizen turns into criminal.

According to the movie reviews, Station movie's script well define the reality and practical situations of the life. The script is wonderfully represented by the the cinematographer Venkat Gangadhari in the movie. This crime-thriller movie has the suspense which remains until the last scene of the movie that able to entangle the audience.

Station is Bangalore's First Hindi Feature Film shot entirely in Bangalore on a RED MX camera. Though, every scene was well depicted, but as the film was made on low budget, so lack of promotion, marketing and star cast overshadowed in creating its fan base. It doesn't score good reviews and flop the show of station.

The music of the movie has been composed by Jeet Singh, which is released via PVR Cinemas. Saad founded CENTERSTAGE, a new wave media movement whose team consists of individuals from Bangalore. The one-time watch movie shows the unexpected that unfolds at the last.
